    Dear Mabooza,
thank you very much for your update! I’ll stick with GameStop and strongly hope you’ll manage to cover their bonus missions here or at PrimaGames.com!
I just checked out the free preview of the “Far Cry 2”-guide at PrimaGames.com – it’s awesome! Thank you very much for providing this teaser! Now I really cannot wait any longer to finally hold the book in my greedy fan boy hands!
But how come you changed the ISBN at the last minute (The old one is still listed at http://www.primagames.com/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9780761559337.)?
Is it true you had to cut 10 pages – mostly character dossiers – from your guide due to typographic reasons (I heard this from your colleague who’s responsible for the german version.)? If so, is there any way for you to offer the content that was cut here or at PrimaGames.com, please? I just don’t want any of your work to be wasted!
I’m looking forward to more of your updates!
    Keep up your great work!
    Best wishes,

Yeah, we had to cut approx. 10 pages from the character dossiers chapter but it wasn’t because of typos. The chapter just ran too long. It was either cut those 10 pages or remove the maps from the back of the guide. It was a pretty easy decision to make. I’m hoping we can post the “un-cut” version of the character dossiers here. There’s a lot of fascinating stuff in there that adds a lot to the story. I’ll check it out and see if we can get that chapter up soon.

    Dear Mabooza,
thanks a lot for your update! I really appreciate it.
I’m sorry for using the wrong word: I’d meant to say that you had to cut 10 pages because there wasn’t any space left to fit them into the guide the way it had been originally planned.
I’d love for you to be able / allowed to post the original versions of the character dossiers here! Personally I’m absolutely thrilled by the story Patrick Redding & Co. came up with!!! Therefore I’d like to get as much background on it as possible. Your guide is an invalubale tool in this regard but this reminds me of the 242nd Ferengi Rule of Acquisition:
“More is good. All is better.”
Thank you very much for your continued support!
    See ya’,
